Summer 2018 Webinar: Rejuvenation of aged hematopoietic stem cells

Until recently, there was broad consensus in the stem cell aging field that the phenotype of aged hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) is fixed, dominated by cell-intrinsic regulatory mechanisms that cannot be altered by pharmacological or genetic means. This paradigm has started to shift dramatically, primarily because hallmarks of aged HSCs have been successfully reverted by distinct experimental approaches by multiple laboratories. In this June 2018 ISEH webinar, we will learn about recent research into HSCs rejuvenation from two renowned experts, Professors Hartmut Geiger (Ulm University and Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center) and David Bryder (Lund University and Gothenburg University).

Live Webinar: Monday, 18 June 2018. 10:00 am US central time/ 17:00 CEST.

Presented by

Hartmut Geiger, Professor, Ulm University and Cincinnatti Children's Hospital Medical Center

David Bryder, Professor, Division of Molecular Hematology, Institution for Laboratory Medicine, Lund University and Sahlgrenska Cancer Centre, Institution for Biomedicine, Gothenburg University

Moderated by

Novella Guidi, University of Southern California
