Metabolic activity is intimately linked to cellular activity and function. Metabolism is now recognized as playing key roles in hematopoietic system function and hematopoietic stem cell activity, while dysregulation of metabolic pathways can corrupt stem cell function and drive leukemogenesis. In this March 2018 ISEH webinar, we will learn about recent research into stem cell metabolism in hematopoiesis and leukemia from two renown experts, Professors Tsvee Lapidot (Weizmann Institute of Science) and Andreas Trumpp (DKFZ German Cancer Research Centre).

Presented by

Tsvee Lapidot, Weizmann Stem Cell Institute, Israel

Andreas Trumpp, Heidelberg Institute for Stem Cell Technology and Experimental Medicine, Germany

Moderated by

Nina Cabezas Wallescheid, Max-Planck-Institute of Immunobiology and Epigenetics, Germany
