Post-Doctoral Fellow

Blood Systems Research Institute (BSRI) and the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) are seeking a motivated post-doctoral fellow to study the development of cellular and genetic therapies for hemoglobinopathies (sickle cell disease and b-thalassemia). Applicants should have a PhD, MD, MD/PhD, or the equivalent and must be a US citizen or Permanent Resident. The ideal candidate should have considerable mammalian cell culture experience and experience with basic molecular biology techniques.

Faculty Positions-Stem Cell Biology & Developmental Biology 

The Center for Stem Cell Biology (CSCB) and the Developmental Biology Program, Sloan-Kettering Institute, New York, NY, are seeking innovative individuals who have strong records of research accomplishments in stem cell biology for tenure-track positions at the Assistant Professor level. Applicants should have a PhD and/or MD degree, productive postdoctoral experience, dedication to important problems in stem cell biology, and the potential to develop a strong independent program in stem cell research.

Director/Senior Director Clinical Research - Hematology/Oncology

AstraZeneca, Waltham, MA, is searching for a Clinical Research Physician to provide a pivotal role in designing, executing and interpreting clinical research programs enabling successful transitions from candidate drug selection to phase III clinical development. Minimum Requirements are: M.D. or equivalent degree; board certification or specialist accreditation in Hematology/ Oncology; at least 5 years of clinical Development and translational research expertise, and at least 3 years experience in drug development.

Postdoctoral position in RNA & Stem cell biology

The ATIPAvenir laboratory of Mathieu Gabut at the Cancer Research Centre of Lyon (France) is looking for a post-doctoral fellow to study the role of alternative splicing for the control of embryonic stem cell (ESC) selfrenewal and pluripotency. The position is funded for 3 years and will be available early 2014. A background in RNA binding proteins, UV crosslinking and immunoprecipitation (CLIP) and/or transcriptome bioinformatics is preferred.

Celgene Corporation, Summit, NJ, is seeking a Lead, Hematology/Solid Tumors to support the Medical Affairs US Disease Leadership in Heme/Solid Tumors. RN/PhD/PharmD preferred. Required experience includes: minimum 5 years (associate director) and 8 years (Director) pharmaceutical/biotech industry or related experience; previous experience in Clinical Development required and previous experience in Medical affairs preferred.
