A postdoctoral position for an outstanding and highly motivated candidate with a strong publication record is available in the Bowman Laboratory at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY, United States. Applicants must have a Ph.D., M.D. or equivalent. Expertise in hematopoietic development, zebrafish genetics, molecular biology, high throughput genomics techniques and microscopic methods are preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are critical.

Postdoctoral Fellow in Cancer Stem Cell Biology

The lab of Dr. Kolja Eppert at McGill University (Faculty of Medicine) in Montreal, Canada and the McGill University Health Center (Montreal Children’s Hospital) has postdoctoral fellow positions available with projects in multiple areas such as molecular regulation of cancer stem cells and drug discovery. Applicants should have a PhD in fields such as stem cell biology, cell biology, biochemistry, hematopoiesis, leukemia or other cancers, or molecular biology. Experience in cancer or hematopoiesis is a plus. Applicants should have expertise in some or all of these methods: molecular biology techniques, animal models, bioinformatics, tissue culture. Ability to communicate in written and spoken English is required.

Postdoc position in computational analysis of genome-wide data of normal and malignant blood cells

The Porse group at The Bioinformatic Centre, Department of Biology at University of Copenhagen, Copenhagen N, Denmark is seeking a postdoctoral fellow responsible for the analysis of genome-wide datasets (Chip-seq for transcription factors / histone marks, RNA-seq, microarray analysis) generated by the Porse group. The candidate should have a background in computational science and have a track-record in the analysis of high-throughput DNA sequencing data and experience with ChIP-seq or RNA-seq is an advantage. The candidate must have experience in programming and statistics (using R). The position is available initially for a year but can be extended.

Hematology/Oncology Faculty

The Division of Hematology/Oncology, Department of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin is seeking applicants for four full-time faculty positions in the areas of breast, thoracic, genitourinary, bone marrow transplant, leukemia, and outreach. Candidates should be board eligible/certified in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology. The Division of Hematology/Oncology is part of the Department of Medicine and the NCI-designated UW Carbone Comprehensive Cancer Center. The Division is active in all phases of cancer therapy development and evaluation.

Research Scientist or Postdoctoral Researcher

The RIKEN Genomics Miniaturization Technology Unit, Life Science Accelerator Technology Group, Division of Genomic Technologies, Center for Life Science Technologies : Yokohama, Japan is recruiting candidates with a Ph.D. in a relevant field and lead author of peer-reviewed publications in at least one of these fields: design and use of microfabricated devices to manipulate single cells; molecular biology and quantitative transcriptomics (CAGE, RNA-Seq, etc.); bioinformatics and large-scale data analysis. For Research Scientist candidates should have more than three years of postdoctoral experience. It is also preferable those who have already accomplished "post-doctoral” research projects for 3 or more years outside the laboratory where they received their Ph. D.

Faculty positions

Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center (FUSCC), Shanghai, P.R. China, is undertaking a major expansion and seeking outstanding applicants for a number of faculty positions at all levels, including faculty positions of its Cancer Research Institute. Candidates with research interest in molecular cancer epidemiology, cancer signaling, mechanisms, microenvironment, cancer stem cells, system biology, translational research on molecular diagnosis and therapy are encouraged to apply. Applicants must have a Ph.D., M.D., or an equivalent degree, post-doctoral experience and clear evidence of research productivity and independence for junior faculty positions, and additional evidence of internationally-reputed research excellence for senior positions (full professor).

Director Department of Hematology

The Department of Hematology of the Karolinska University Hospital, Stockholm , Sweden is searching for a Director to be responsible for the overall medical care and delivery of clinical services to the patients of the Department. Candidates should be Registered Physician with PhD, with deep knowledge in Hematology.

Multiple positions, in stem cell preclinical and clinical research

CellsforCells, Santiago, Chile, a stem cell therapy company, has recently been established to deliver world class excellence in biomedical research in Chile. C4C is recruiting highly motivated elements to join its dynamic team for the following available positions: Postdoctoral fellow (R&D); Lab technologist; Biochemist ( for preclinical research focus); Senior Biotechnologist (for stem cell clinical product R&D); Junior Biotechnologist (for stem cell clinical product R&D), and Project Manager.
