• New Investigator Career Session: Selling your science: How to write a successful paper versus grant application"
  Join this New Investigator Career Workshop to learn from journal editors and grant reviewers for NIH and ERC how to write a successful paper and grant application. What are the "do's and don'ts"? And how is it different to write a good paper from writing a good application?"
• New Investigator Technology Session: When do progenitor cells irreversibly commit to one lineage? Does a sub-population of myeloid-biased HSCs accumulate with age? Is tissue heterogeneity affected by disease? These questions may finally be resolved using single-cell technologies, which is the subject of the New Investigator Committee technology session at the annual ISEH meeting. This session will focus on transcriptional analysis, discuss state-of-the-art technologies and bioinformatic approaches, and present insights from analyzing the hematopoietic system at the ultimate level of cellular resolution.
• New Investigator Meet the Expert Mixer: Come and mingle with some of the leading experts in our field during the “Meet the Expert Mixer”. This informal event will be held on Friday evening at the convention center. Your ticket includes drinks, nibbles and the opportunity to mix and chat with the world-leading scientists listed below. • Pre-conference Workshop: A new pre-meeting ISEH workshop exclusively for graduate students and post-doctoral fellows will be offered this year on the morning of August 25th. This workshop, mentored by experienced ISEH faculty, will include career development sessions, a poster session, and platform presentations. It offers a unique opportunity for trainees to present their current research to experienced faculty and network with individuals who will become their future colleagues. Prizes will be award for the best oral presentations and posters, including the top two oral presentations being awarded a presentation at the main meeting.

Cancellation & Refund Policy: All cancellations must be sent to ISEH in writing (email, fax, or letter). For cancellations received before 21 June 2016 deposits will be refunded less $75 for administrative costs. After this date, no refund will be possible. A handling fee of $30 per registration will be charged for every registration modification received after 21 June 2016.
