Scientist, Stem Cell Biology, Translational Sciences And Technology

Biogen Idec, Cambridge, MA, is looking a scientist to join the Stem Cell Biology lab., which actively partners with the neurology and inflammation therapeutic area leaders for exploratory research, target discovery, biomarker discovery and modeling of disease using human iPSC derived cells. Minimum: Ph.D. with 4+ years human pluripotent research experience or non-PhD with 8+ years of independent human pluripotent stem cell research experience required.

Research Scientist-Stem Cell Biologist

The Houston Methodist Kenneth R. Peak Brain and Pituitary Tumor Treatment Center, Houston, TX, is seeking a Research Scientist with experience in induced pluripotential stem cells, and differentiation and dedifferentiation. The role will involve working with glioma inducing cells and the relationship between these cells and progenitor cells in the periventricular zone. Development of novel strategies utilizing techniques that modify these cells is an important research mission of the Center.

This position is ideal for someone with a Ph.D and/or M.D. seeking to develop expertise in stem cell biology in an intimate and vibrant laboratory setting.
