The Institut Pasteur announces an international call for candidates
wishing to establish independent research groups on its Paris, France campus.
The recruitments are part of the Revive Laboratory of Excellence (LabEx)
programme, recently awarded to the Institut Pasteur on "Stem Cells and
Regenerative Biology and Medicine". To be eligible, candidates must have
defended their PhD on or after June 20, 2005 (women with children are eligible
up to 10 yrs after their Ph.D).
Hematological Malignancies- BC/BE hematologist or medical
Memorial Healthcare System, Florida, is seeking
a BC/BE hematologist or medical oncologist to join its multi-specialty
physician group. Candidates should possess the experience needed to provide
highly specialized care to patients with benign and malignant hematological
disorders, including those undergoing blood and marrow transplantation.

manage a dynamic research team. Position involves elucidating mechanisms
underlying stem cell fate decisions, nuclear reprogramming, and artificial
bioengineered niches with therapeutic applications. Strong background in
molecular biology and cell sorting (FACS) a must.
Expertise in fluorescence and confocal microscopy, mouse models, mammalian cell
culture, and retroviral and lentiviral transduction desirable. Stem cell
experience (muscle, hematopoiesis, iPS) a plus.
Fellow in Stem Cells and Cancer
A postdoctoral fellow position in the field of
stem cells and cancer is immediately available in the School of Medicine,
Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. The dynamic research team focuses on the
response of hematopoietic stem cells to stimuli and the regulation of cancer
stem cells, using cellular, genetic (mouse engineering), and systems approaches.
Interested applicants must have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree in a field of life
and biomedical sciences. Previous research experience with human/mouse

Hematology/Oncology at Boston Children’s Hospital and the Dana-Farber Cancer
