The meeting will present an innovative program featuring a wide range of topics and diverse speakers from around the world discussing the latest science, innovations and future direction of stem cell research and regenerative medicine. Focus Sessions are member-organized presentations that offer parallel, in-depth educational opportunities that explore unique issues relating to stem cell research.
In addition, the following Focus Sessions will be held the morning of Wednesday, June 18, 2014: Engaging the Engine – How Public/Private Partnerships Between Academia and Industry Can Facilitate More Efficient Translation; Ethics, Stem Cells and the Information Age; Tools for Basic and Applied Stem Cell Biology; The Establishment of Global Resource Networks for iPSC Research
This congress will have the following themes:
Day 1- Stem Cell Reprogramming: This event will highlight and discuss recent advances in strategies for controlling stem cell fate and reprogramming.
Day 2- Stem Cells and BioProcessing: This event will discuss the analysis of stem cells physiological activity in relation to their culture parameters, culture best practice and the new technologies involved in optimising the manufacture of stem cells for therapeutic use .
Day 3- Novel Biomaterials and Technology for Tissue Engineering: This meeting brings together the principles of engineering and life sciences in tissue development and regenerative medicine to discuss scientific research and developments of clinical applications from leading experts in the field.
